Well, here goes (probably) nothing. It's a great URL, particularly for its intended purpose of humbly calling attention as a neutral (well, sometimes) observer to everything dumb, inane, hateful, corrupt, asinine, intolerable and/or cheesy about the world that I perceive by empirical means (in other words, pretty much everything). That's not to say that I'm not (I think) reasonably well-adjusted; I'm not a violent person, nor do I have any serious BS self-esteem or power vacuum issues that compel me to rub turkey gravy into my bare chest and howl at the full moon. Actually, I think I'm pretty respectably decent at taking all of life's little perks and poops with a fairly stoic circumspection, truth be told, and as a result of both my occupation(s) and my life experiences, I've done well going into some incredibly dark places on behalf of myself and others, maybe gotten a little roughed up or singed, and (thankfully, by grace) come back out alive.
Most of all, while I've never really been interested in blogging before (and who knows how long this one will last?), I guess I've just really tired of social media (which from this point forward will regularly be referred to as antisocial media), which in turn is probably best summarized by the erudite lyrics of Pink Floyd (and yet ironically I wish people, including me, would think more for themselves and in their own words rather than in platitudinous cutting-and-pasting like I'm about to do. That's it- maybe I have self-loathing issues):
